In some years the British presence at the RNLAF Open Days was really strong, in other years they sent a Hawk or Chinook and that was it so to speak. Maybe it's to blame on the organizers though.

Gilze 2005 was really good, iirc, Tornados, Hawks, Harriers, C-130J, Chinook, SeaKing, Red Arrows, Blue Eagles and your Nimrod. Only the Typhoon was missing.

Looks like I have to be there on Friday to see the RAF Typhoon!

Hello all,

The MIG-29 will also be a awesome display...
However not yet officially confirmed  ;D

Officially confirmed, and always a pleasure to watch,
and a personal favourite, is the RAF Chinook display.

Looks like a awesome airshow so far.

Hello all,

Occasionally the RNLAF is opening a very large can of
surprises, like in 2006 at Leeuwarden. This year again, they
have already done a awsome job in my humble opinion.

Some new participants added today:

Marocco
- Flying - Marche Verte  ;D

United Kingdom
- Flying - Beech King Air B200

Greece
- Static - F-16D-52+

Netherlands
- Flying - NH-90 NHIndustries

That's it for now...
