Embarrassed to post, after all these months of absence.

But here we go...nothing is of course official until the weeks before
the show, and Flying Legends release their official participants version.
But just to get a small impression, and taste what we maybe can expect.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but am I right in thinking there's so far nothing new to Flying Legends on that list? Maybe I am confused with the New Zealand show(s).

Hey Niels,

You are completely right, however, that is Flying Legends. You either
hate it, or love it. More aircraft types will probably be released just
one week before the event itself. In my case, seeing every year, ten
Spitfires in take-off next to each other bouncing on the grass, a tail
chase by 5 P-51 Mustangs, the sound of a screaming Sea Fury .......
well, the list can go on, and on, and on....If you like warbirds, than
Legends is the place to be, the atmosphere, the airplanes, everything.

Every year they seem to have another great surprise up their sleeves.
And this year, of course the P-47 Thunderbolt in the flying display.....

Once you have bin there, you need/have to return each year.

Sure, I was just checking the list and hoping for something that would make it worth for me to go. Of course not quite sure what that would be, LOL. Not even sure if a B-29 would be enough for me. I think the other "mixed" airshow at Duxford in September is more for me, maybe I'll try that one in the future. Because I do want to visit the museum at Duxford as well at some time.

I'm still considering whether I go to England this year or not, of course if I do it will be RIAT not Flying Legends. The RoKAF Black Eagles really seems to be a once in a lifetime opportunity to get to see them without having to travel half the world.

Hopefully you can bring back some awesome photos again.

Hey Niels,

Hopefully this updated list will motivate your decision 
I think that the B-29 will be a long shot to see ever at Duxford.
At least a flying one, there is a beautiful static one in the American Museum.

I'm already happy to see my beloved P-38 Lighting back at Duxford, together
with some other nice additions like the French Sea Fury and the US Sikorsky S-38.
Hopefully Meier Motors will be back with their awesome F4U-5NL Corsair.
In the weeks to the build up, hopefully some more exotic aircraft will be released.
