Title: Flying Legends 2011 (Duxford, GB)
Post by: Ramon on February 02, 2011, 09:25:42 PM
Hello all,

The year 2011 is just started, and the airshow season is still far away.
However is the first team already confirmed for Flying Legends, a team
I'm looking forward seeing again. The USA based Horseman is attending
again with some very close flying with three P-51 Mustangs.  :P

Let's wait what else they have up their sleeve at Duxford.

Regards, Ramon

Meh Mustangs... give me a call when they get that B-29 at Duxford, that would be something to cross the channel for.

Hey Niels,

Most interesting part for me is that they come with
their own three P-51 Mustangs over from the USA.

I keep my fingers crossed to see at least these two:
- P-51C-10NT - "Princess Elizabeth"
- And again P-51D-20NA - "Twilight Tear" a real WOII vet.

The B-29 would be nice, I have seen her however already  ;)

Regards, Ramon

Hello all,

Just a few days until war bird heaven opens up....

So far they have a awesome list of aircraft lined up this year. However some are static, most
will be seen in the air. I mention a P-47, three Hispano HA-1112-M1L Buchons, three P-40's
with one shipped from Australia ??? :o three Skyraiders and two USA based P-51 Mustangs
for the Horseman display. And I guess lots more up their sleeves, to be released this week.

For a provisional participants list visit my blog  :-X

I can't wait till it is Friday.
Regards, Ramon
