Since we have added civil aircraft to the topic list, let's have a dedicated civvie election.

Hehe, oops, removed it... the one without vote.

I've changed my vote from the 787 to the Embraer 190 series, it really gained market share at an impressive rate. I suppose I voted 787 earlier because of the development progress, but it's too early to vote it plane of the year.

Anyway, these polls are hardly worth it with so few members voting.

Yeah, 7 votes. That can hardly be called a poll, but still better then nothing.   Embraer they are Brazilian, right?  :)

I would have voted for the IL-76, because I want to sit in an easy chair in that bombardier nose!!

Thanks F-111. Just wanted to make sure.  :)

Well, im the one who voted for Bombardier. This is mainly because of their CRJ Next Generation series that was introduced in 2009. They have actually managed to make the quietest jets that are flying today. They look great, and they are not "Jumbo" sized.

Did i mention that they are more environment friendly then the other big names in the industry. Or, so do they say.  ;)
