Qantas has applied to the Australian Civil Aviation Authority to reduce the number of flight attendants allowed by law from 36 passengers per attendant to 50 passengers per attendant.
United States airlines have always had the 50 law and in hard times for airlines it seems to be reasonable.
Don't get me wrong, I'd actually prefer one for each of us and have them sit on our knees to land and take off, but we can't have everything.
Arriving at your destination without crashing is the most important and that has always been the forte' of Qantas.
