I'm not strong in armor warfare and wanted to read up on tank battles.   I don't want to go big like the the first Gulf war so I'm looking for any tank engagements pre-1991.   Border conflicts, African wars, any tank vs. tank engagements anything from the 80's to pre-Gulf War I, in 1991. If somebody can just throw names up I'll to the leg work hunting down the information.   I'm on a tank kick and this isn't the easiest topic to look up or research.  Thanks

Postwar / pre-1991, you have to check out the 1967 Israel-Egypt tank battles and the Indian-Pakistan 1965 and 1971 conflicts.

But if you say 1980s, I can only think of Iran-Iraq war, Libanon, and the Russian campaign in Afghanistan.
