What do you want to build?  Old World War 2 fighters or new jet fighters?  I have a collection of 1/32 scale jet fighters and old warbirds.  This scale size is BIG and I plan to build them all and display them.  Go to ebay and search "1/32 scale" airplanes.   Hope I could help.

go on ebay and get Revell's 1/32 scale size F-15C or F-15E Eagle.  It's BIG and it's cheaper than Tamiya's kit.  It's going for around $25 - $30 depending on the number of bidders.  As a matter of fact, I think there's a couple on auction right now.  GO F-15 EAGLE!!!

Im not  :-\ I just like military aircraft and learning about wars and stuff. WWII is the war I started getting interested in. Then all others and military operations and cold war and stuff like that...weapons of war etc. and about tactics...pretty much everything about wars...except the death and bad things that have to fight it  :( but they stand for good things...it helps the world and futer generations out...if you or anyone else is a veteran or flies or fights in the military now then feel free to message me because I like talking to poeple in the military.

If you want medium sized, you should go for 1/48. Won't be as big as a project as one at 1/32, but still big enough for the details and stuff.

Depends, on the brand, model and aircraft. I don't know prices in the US, but probably like 15-25 USD for nice ones, maybe for really good brands you pay 30-50 USD. And I think, nowadays, you can get 1/48 scale kits for like 10 USD.

Dunno, if this is a good kit, but Revell is pretty good brand overall. Their North America website only shows a small selection of what they have to offer. F-15C 1/48th for 16.95 USD, but only skill level 2:

But it's probably cheaper at your local toy or hobby shop. And you can look for F-15s by other brands.

Cobra, I have been recommended a website that sells modelkits for its low prices. You should visit it here: http://www.luckymodel.com

I am sure you will find whatever you'd like and it is surely cheaper that there (it is at least cheaper than Europe and S.America).

Hope it helps,
Thomas
