Yes, it was pretty strange, but it was a demilitarized one, every bit of military system was ripped out. I am not sure, but it seemed like an ex-Blue Angles one? Could also just been the picture.

I've also seen an AH-64 on sale on e-bay. Also pretty strange, it was actually cleared to fly as well, demilitarized and owned by some dubious company. But the ad looked like a big joke.

i ve seen one of those mig before at the local airclub. a guy just bought it in yuogoslavia and flew back to france... before the plane got seized by customs. not cleared yet, i dont think.
what happens to the planes that are not sold? broken down in bits and pieces? any recycling program in place yet?  ;)

Yep, probably recycled, turned into razor blades or mobile phone components for example.

Most MiG-31s are still flying or stored. They're not scapping those yet, although I suppose several airframes are canabalized for parts.
