Title: Future standard version for Rafale?
Post by: Armée de l'Air on September 30, 2010, 12:11:55 PM
I have come across these (http://www.google.dk/imgres?imgurl=http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo140/JeskiM69/Model%2520Stuff/Izzy048.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.zone-five.net/showthread.php%3Fp%3D101284&usg=__g3ggy8ts2d4b-4S6pOZMCoyqL0o=&h=768&w=1024&sz=86&hl=da&start=13&zoom=1&itbs=1&tbnid=v9y9yDWQqSufrM:&tbnh=113&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dtrumpeter%2Brafale%26hl%3Dda%26sa%3DX%26gbv%3D2%26tbs%3Disch:1,isz:l) beautiful shots of a Revell 1/48th model of a Rafale B fighter assembled and finished by this unknown fellow.
They are superb. Please observe the CFTs in line with the F-16F Block 60. Could it possibly be a future “F4” standard for the Armée de l’Air?
What you all think?
Personally I think that it looks better then any existing standards. Mostly by examining the shots where the B version is in company of an M version.

P.S.
With your permission I've changed both my username and avatar. From Flotille 12F to Armée de l'Air.  :P

Hmm, I think they are just "optional" and not carried normally, just like many F-16C Block 52+

It's not a modeller's fantasy. Here's that B prototype with them fitted. The picture is 5-10 years old I think.
