A request for 112 billion yen to upgrade 32 F-15 fighter jets. Japan has about 200 F-15s and only eight of them have been upgraded so far. Aren't Japan's F-15J pretty modern what upgrades have been done I can't seem to find that anywhere? Are they getting AESA radar's or maybe new engines?
