I have some info somewhere on the twoseaters produced from surplus single seaters, I'm not sure if it included all serials, but for the first one should have reported it. I'll look for it.
James:
Thank you so much. I don't believe I have ever been into an aircraft as much as I am the Gripen.

JAS 39A #39197 212 Fighter Squadron - F 21 Norrbotten Wing
JAS 39C #39248 212 Fighter Squadron - F 21 Norrbotten Wing

Sorry for the delay, had to find it, unfortunately the article didn't mention specifics, only that 26 A cockpits were used for 13 B.
Years ago I was working on a list myself, but I need to check it, not sure about which are A to C upgrades. The Swedes kept only 100 (but then some attrition deductions occured) at some point, but I need to do some research to see how they broke down in A/B, A upgraded to C, and newbuilds.
The Czech lease examples are pretty easy, their code = the FMS serial minus the first 3.
The EPTS are lend aircraft.
Hungarians should be easy to find, but I didn't have them on my list yet either at the time.
I've got the Thai serials, will post them later.
