I think besides the F-22 that the MKI Flanker is the best all around operational fighter in the world. Maybe after the Typhoon puts out it's final version a case could be made which is truly the best 4th ++ generation aircraft but not until then. I wish more details and information could be released on what "Phase 3" means. I wonder if India or should I say HAL Industries can upgrade early models to phase 3 standards, that would be a good feat. Imagine if India bought a hundred or so Mirage 2000-5s say five years ago what a good hi/lo mix they would have had with MKI Flanker and Mirage 2000-5s. javascript:void(0);
