Pictures please Rafale and Flankers
« on: July 21, 2007, 07:21:20 PM »
French and Russian aircraft sharing a base and no released pictures ?   Does anybody know what the Russia Flankers do I know the French Rafales are doing combat opts.   If anybody know anything more, I think it pretty cool both aircraft types are on one base.

The story I found

Hmm, the three Rafale left Dushanbe on June 29th on direct flight back home, having finished their 4 month deployment. Looks like only the Mirage 2000s will move to Aini, if it really happens.

Regarding the two forces at  Dushanbe, it has a seperate platform on the east side, so they were probably not sharing a flight line.

By the way, you are asking for pics of maybe one of the most security sensitive regions in the world.

I thought somebody would get in there and snap away Rafale's and Flankers on the same is is very rare indeed.   Maybe some French  or Russian AF pictures may surface?
