Performance
Cruise speed: 530 mph (853 km/h)

Service ceiling: 41,000 ft (12,500 m)
And its radar is Active Electronically Scanned Array radar.
And yeah Foxhound, I found that it is the 737 AWACS also.

so i was right ;D ;D
-
is it better then the AWACS with the circle thing on its back? or worse? or equal?
-
Because the new radar is scanned/phases array it doesnt have to rotate anymore. The radarradiation is electronically directed to where it is supposed to go. It makes for a much lighter construction and therefore a smaller aircraft. Scanningrange is over 200 nm and about the same as the E-3. Ugly aircraft by the way...

Its ugly yes, but comparing it to an Air Bus Beluga.. yikes!

Prettier than the IAI Phalcon (http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/row/phalcon.htm) system on this B707!

I LIKE the IAI thing...
