What Kuwait replaced it's Hornet's with?
« on: November 07, 2007, 06:21:01 PM »
My question is what would Kuwait, replace it's fleet of Boeing F/A-18A Hornets with?   Any ideas or thoughts on which direction they may go?   There military spending goes in many directions so it's difficult to get a handle on it.    I don't think upgrading to Super Hornet's is a for sure thing maybe some sort of a split order for a second main fight type?  I think Kuwait's uses personnel from Pakistan to help there air force for maintenance support so I'm not sure if that will have an effect on a choice?   Suggestions?

How old are they? I think about 15 years max? Can soldier on for at least another 10 years with a mid-life update... then F-35...

Why? Are they shopping yet?
