Well, this is the international version... they can probably give a list of countries, but looks to me this variant is specifically aimed at Iraq.
The US version, AH-6S, is competing with the Armed Scout 645 (AS645, EADS North America, based on the EC145/EC645) and a OH-58D upgrade or new variant of the Bell 429. Considering budget constraints I wouldn't rule out the OH-58D upgrade, but if really new helicopters are preferred this looks to become another chapter in the Boeing vs EADS story and surely American jobs will be the subject of the discussion, rather than capabilities. The EC145 also formed the basis for the UH-72A Lakota, the US Army seems very happy with, so this AS645 has a real good chance. So I'm not sure this new Little Bird variant will make it... if not bought by the US Army, how likely is it that the AH-6i will be produced / export customers will buy it? As for Iraq, seems a prime candidate, I don't know if a decision has already been taken?
