Hello from Portugal.
Here I am to inform you that there will be a military exercise in Portugal. Real Thaw 2012.
During 23rd January till 3rd February.
There will be a spotterday on 2nd February at Monte Real air base.
This is an Air Force exercice with all portuguese forces, Navy and Army, with a few foreign forces.
Portuguese Air Force:
From Monte Real air base ( exercice HQ)
201Sqn and 301 Sqn with F-16 AM
From Montijo air base
501Sqn with C-130 Hercules
502Sqn with C-295 Persuater
751Sqn with EH-101 Merlin
From Beja air base:
552Sqn with Alouette III
601Sqn with P-3C cup+
Foreign forces
Unites States and Dutch will bring the FAC's
Nato: E-3A AWACS
Spain: Eurofighter from Ala 11 and A-330MRTT tanker
And from United Kindom will came te Falcon 20 from Cobham.
