Sofia. Gripen are ready to give second hand chasers for the needs of Bulgarian Air Force. Sweden is ready to consider selling of second hand planes to Bulgarian army if Bulgarian government is interested in such decision.
These used chasers are still one of the most modern arms today. This is what director of SAAB for Bulgaria Daniel Boestad told FOCUS News Agency.
Swedish company made offer back in 2006 to the Ministry of Dedense for the delivery of new chasers Gipen.
According to Daniel Boestad despite they are used these chasers are one of the most modern in the world.
Company press office pointed they have not presented the offer to Bulgarian government but if it wants they are ready to do so.
Company press office pointed the offer from 2006 is still valid. Company also proposed implementation of offset, which means attracting extra investments in Bulgaria.
