Finnish Air Force pilots flying 12 F/A-18 aircraft are to practice in-flight refuelling with a US Air Force Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker in early May, the Finnish Defence Forces said in a statement Tuesday.
The four-engine tanker is to fly to the Pirkkala base in southern Finland from Britain.
The military added that Finnish pilots needed aerial refuelling skills in order to take part in international operations.
