On Monday (27-10-08) I had a nice chat with Jozeph Samyn. A 86 year old man that worked as mechanic in the years '40 '50 ... He also had some other jobs with planes. He took his photobook with pics from those years. He talked about all sorts of things and although I went for the planes I appreciated the story's... He had a nice collection of pictures. From American Sabres till Belgian spitfires. He also had pictures from a Dominy (his first flight to London) Sv-4 ( he flew the plane while the pilot got sick. He was drunk...)  He also had pics from the Mosquitto, B-29, Dakota's, Boxcars, Ju-52, Meteor, Shooting star's, Vampires, Harvards. I tried to take pics from the pics. More can been seen atwww.airplanepictures.tk
with special thanks to Jozeph Samyn and grandson!

This helicopter crashed later in Congo, killing all people on board...
