Good one AArd. You beat me to it.

First RAAF Super Hornet Flight

Here's a photo of the take off.

The first F-18F Block II Super Hornet for the Royal Australian Air Force takes off for its flight. Deliveries of the 24 aircraft on order will be completed by 2011.
This should keep the Fijians from attacking until the rest of the order arrives.

Greg Combet, the Minister for Defence Personnel, Materiel and Science, has congratulated the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) and Boeing following the first flight of Australia’s F/A-18F Super Hornet in the United States.

Bloody hell! Greg Combet. Our 'far to the left', aviation expert hero. I need help.

The Hon Greg Combet  MP grew up in western Sydney and worked as a trades assistant, in coal mining, and in a range of community organisations.
Mr Combet also led the union movement in the high profile 1998 waterfront dispute, the union campaign that secured employee entitlements for 16,000 workers after the collapse of Ansett, and the campaign that secured a multi-billion dollar settlement for Australian asbestos victims from James Hardie.

Australia is in great hands. I feel at ease.
