Bomb truck still sounds the coolest. it's simple, but funny and sounds well. F-35 Bomb Truck 
B-17 useto be called Fighting Fortress(what else can u call a 25tonn mass of iron with 13+ cannons?), so why not call F-35 a bomb truck or Suhkoi/MiG killer?

Hey guys, I was just checking out the F-35 JSF website and Lockheed chose the name Lightning II to honor to fighter/interceptors - Lockheed's own P-38 Lightning and England's Electric Lightning.  That's pretty cool.  Also, there' s a picture of an F-35 w/multi-national flags on them - I apologize if I don't recognize all of them but here it goes -

United States, England, Australia, Canada, Spain, Turkey and what looks like Denmark and Norway.

You only missed one out of two Level 2 partners and mixed up the other one.  I hope you don't work at Lockheed Martin, hehe. From left to right: USA, UK, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Norway.

USA/UK - Level 1
Italy/Netherlands - Level 2
the rest is still Level 3 I believe, although Australia might have become level 2 now also.

Spain is part of the Eurofighter consortium, but they might need Harrier replacements as well some time in the future, just like Italy, the one I think you confused it with. Spain has not joined the program though, and will probably buy off-the-shelf in the future if they do need them.

I hope they are delivered in the colors like the F-22, and not in the F-16 like boring scheme, which was applied to the X-35 prototypes.
