Israel Aerospace Industries 11:50 GMT, June 10, 2009 LE BOURGET, France | Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) will present its advanced systems and products at the upcoming International Paris Air Show, June 15-21 at Le Bourget, France. MBT Divisions’ Harop Loitering Munition System will be publicly displayed for the first time.

ELTA Systems Ltd., a group and a wholly owned subsidiary of IAI, will feature its Conformal Airborne Early Warning & Control (CAEW) aircraft. The EL/W-2085 CAEW aircraft integrates radar, Identify Friend or Foe (IFF), Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and an integrated Self-Protection System (SPS). The G550 based CAEW includes a comprehensive communication suite designed for Network Centric Operation (NCO) which insures extensive interoperability in any theater. The first CAEW aircraft was delivered to the Israel Air Force in 2008 and fulfills a variety of missions, including Early Warning and Air Combat Command and Control. A model of the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) onboard a Russian IL-76 aircraft will also be presented.
ELTA will also display its EL/I-3001 Airborne Integrated Signal Intelligence System (AISIS), Maritime Patrol Radars (MPR), Multi Mission Radars (MMR), Mobile Satellite Communication (SATCOM) stations, Active Electronically Steered Array (AESA) Fire Control Radars for fighters, EL/M-2248 Multi-function Surveillance Track and Guidance Radars (MF-STAR) and EL/M-2258 Advanced Lightweight Phased Array Naval Radars (ALPHA). Additional ELTA solutions and products - including radars, various payloads, and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) applications, which address such challenges as Homeland Security (HLS) and border patrol - will be presented at the show.
TecSAR – an advanced imaging satellite comprised of the OPSAT 2000 and the OPSAT 3000 high resolution observation satellites will be presented jointly by the MBT Space Division and by ELTA.
The Heron, Naval Rotary UAV (NRUAV), Bird Eye 400 and Bird Eye 600 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) will be presented by the MALAT Division.
MBT Missiles Division will exhibit the GRIFFIN-3 Next Generation Laser Guided Bomb (NGLGB) kit, LAHAT, a Network Centric Laser Guided Missile, the Barak-8 Air and Missile Defense (AMD) system, and the Harop Loitering Munition System.
TAMAM Division will present the Plug-In Optronic Payload (POP) family – POP300LR Observer, POP 300D Designator, Mini-POP, and Micro-POP, Multi-Mission Optronic Stabilized Payload- MOSP3000, and Navigation & Inertial Measuring Units (NIMU) for both land and aerial missions.
